From seed workshops to woodstove baking, Historic Stewart Farm offers programs for adults you simply won't find anywhere else.

Jane Austen Book Club (13yrs+)
Spend an evening discussing Jane Austen’s masterpiece ‘Pride and Prejudice’ while sampling woodstove-baked goodies and sipping tea in the cozy farmhouse. Book pick-up at Ocean Park Library. 1 session for $5.

Pioneer Kitchen: Rhubarb (16yrs+)
Embrace spring flavours by learning to cook with sweet-tart, easy to grow rhubarb. We’ll share the secrets of baking fresh bread to sample with rhubarb compote and rhubarb sour cream cookies. 1 session for $25.

Charlie Chaplin Night (13yrs+)
Spend the evening sharing popcorn and laughs at the antics of Charlie Chaplin as we screen his 1925 silent film hit “The Gold Rush.”  1 free session. Pre-registration required.

Surrey 1967  (16yrs+)
What happened in Surrey during the centennial year? Leaf through newspaper articles and photos with Surrey Archives staff to discover Surrey’s Canadian celebration connections. Enjoy tea and a tour of the farmhouse afterwards. 1 session $7.50.

Heritage Sites Bus Tour  (16yrs+)
Celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday with a guided bus tour revealing places and people who helped shape Surrey. Stops include the Peace Arch and Surrey’s 1912 Municipal Hall. 1 session $25.
