Hang out. Make art. Discover the power of sharing creativity. Each week we are featuring a different art project with a local artist. Come and explore different materials and make friends along the way. No previous art skills required. All are welcome.

Jul 1 1-5pm Cloverdale Youth Park Sculpt Your Dream Skatepark Get your hands dirty with Amelia Butcher. Transform a table coverd in clay into a miniature skatepark.
Jul 6 12-4pm Hillcrest Park Flag Making and Origami Start with small folds, then team up to build giant origami sculptures. Also, design and contribute to our growing line of celebration flags.
Jul 11 5:30-9:00pm Surrey Art Gallery Art Together's Sizzling Art Bash Head to the Gallery for a summer art party with music and a wide variety of group art projects.
Jul 12 2-6pm Hillcrest Village Mall Braiding a Giant Friendship Bracelet Hang out in Tin Can Studio's vintage mobile art studio and learn macramé techniques to create a giant bracelet.
Jul 19 12-4pm Hazelgrove Park Ink Prints + Sun Prints Work alongside artists Deborah Putman and Sarah Hart as they explore different means for creating prints. Learn how to silkscreen or channel the sun in order to create your image.
Jul 26 12-4pm Hillcrest Park Music with Handmade Instruments and Crafting Postcards Make some noise! Hang out with George Rahi and Robin Jacob from Gamelan Bike Bike. Make music with instruements they made from old bike parts. Also local artist Claire Moore will help you recycle juice boxes into stamps that you can make postcards with.
