It's the first week of the 20th Annual Environmental Extravaganza! Come join us as we explore and learn about nature in Surrey - there's something for everyone.

The complete Extravaganza Event Guide is available for download now. In April, pick up a hardcopy at the Surrey Nature Centre, your local Surrey Library or Recreation Centre, or any Extravaganza event.

Please note: event hosts reserve the right to limit group registration sizes.

Surrey Clean Sweep Week
Pick up litter in a Surrey park with your friends, family, neighbours or co-workers and be entered to win great prizes. Help us reach 150 clean-ups in celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday! Sign up your group at www.surrey.ca/cleansweep.

Birding Walk at Redwood Park
Search for local birds in the arboretum, a collection of trees from all around the world! This guided walk is great for beginner to intermediate birders. Bring binoculars and a field guide if you have them. All ages, rain or shine.

Everyone is welcome at our annual Chinook salmon release! Release baby salmon into the Little Campbell River and take a self-guided tour through the forest and along salmon spawning beds. Bring a picnic to make a day of this fun event.
