Field Trips to Burns Bog
Bring your class for an interpretive nature walk through one of the world’s most unique ecosystems - Burns Bog! These tours address grade-specific core competencies and can be customized to suit your class’ needs. Suitable for grades K-12. Hosted by the Burns Bog Conservation Society.

Pioneer Penny Pinchers
Discover Surrey’s cultural and natural history at the Historic Stewart Farm. Students handle artifacts, explore the 1894 farmhouse, and perform “farm chores” as they investigate the creative ways Surrey’s pioneers practiced the 3Rs - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Open to grades 4-5. Hosted by the Historic Stewart Farm.
