Supporting Vulnerable People
Our vision of a city where everyone is safe and engaged means all people matter and deserve support. In our diverse city, we recognize that some individuals need multiple supports to address personal challenges such as physical and mental health, addictions, homelessness and interpersonal violence. We also recognize that we can’t do it alone. Our priority of supporting vulnerable people involves the delivery of collaborative efforts with multiple community organizations to
- address specific community issues,
- ensure more effective service delivery, and
- support victims and those whose public safety is threatened.
