City Hall Facilities Rentals
There are several spaces at City Hall that can be booked by members of the public for meetings, presentations or other functions.
City Hall Plaza
Connecting City Hall, Surrey City Centre Library, and SFU, this dynamic outdoor community hub is the ideal centralized location for community celebrations. Free for non-profit community groups. For more information regarding cost and contacts, visit the City Hall Plaza page.
There are 2 Committee Rooms located on the ground level of City Hall. They can either be used as two separate spaces with a removable divider wall or one large space when the wall is removed. The smaller of the two rooms can hold approximately 20 people, while the larger room can accomodate approximately 50 people. When the divider wall is removed, both spaces can accomodate a maximum of 75 people. See the floor plans for the ground level committee rooms for more details. There are 2 Community Rooms located on the second level of City Hall. The Community Rooms are also available as two separate rooms for smaller gatherings or with the divider wall removed to use the entire space. Each room can accomodate approximately 30 people and combined a maximum of 75 people.View the standard room layouts (boardroom style) for the community rooms for more information. The meeting room fees vary from $10.35-$45.07 per hour. All bookings require a refundable $200 damage deposit as well as proof of $2 million liability insurance with the City of Surrey as an addition insured. We do offer insurance through the rental at an additional cost. Rooms have a touch screen controller (ipad) and supplied HDMI and audio cables. Centre Stage Performing Arts Venue - Ground Floor (Council Chambers)
Council Chambers transforms into a performing arts venue that is equipped for theatre, music and dance. This room can also be used for small seminars and meetings.

The City Room (atrium)
This atrium on the ground floor of City Hall is a bright, open space right when you walk through the doors of the building. The City Room has over 3600 square feet of usable space with two display areas.

Parking for all events at City Hall is available on the P1 level of the underground parkade for $1.50/hour.
