Request for Proposals

PURPOSE

This request for proposals is issued by the City of Surrey to acquire a qualified and experienced service provider to deliver business consulting services to support the ongoing Surrey Light Rail Transit (LRT) communication activities on an “as and when required” basis.  These may include, but are not limited to, support urban integration and advocacy work streams, review project engagement and communications, preparation of key messages and communication strategies, provision of general advisory services.  Qualified entities are invited to submit a Proposal to provide business consulting services as detailed in Schedule A – Scope of Services.

The work may be part of one or several, small or large initiatives and projects as defined by the City through an established resource engagement process.

The City has defined a series of business roles that may be required throughout the Term of the agreement.  At the City’s discretion, the composition of each Proponent’s delivery team may involve resources provided by the Proponent, personnel from a third party consultant, and City employees.

Addenda
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFP, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca  (the “BC Bid Website”) and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (the “City Website”) that will form part of this RFP.  It is the responsibility of Proponents to check the BC Bid Website and the City Website for addenda.  The only way this RFP may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum.  No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFP or may be relied upon by any Proponent. By delivery of a Proposal, Proponent is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFP, including any and all addenda.
