INVITATION TO TENDER
CONTRACT M.S.4715-060-11

Tenders are invited for the upgrade of the Douglas Pump Station, Burkhardt Pump Station, Quibble Creek Pump Station, and Stewart Farm Pump Station. Specifically requirements include:

 

Douglas Pump Station (Intersection of 171st & 0 Ave, Surrey)

 

.1         The City of Surrey intends to install a permanent back-up generator on site:

 

.1         A new reinforced concrete pad as defined on the drawings;

.2         Installing buried conduits as required;

.3         Installing a new generator set and fuel tank set in weatherproof enclosure;

.4         Installation of an Automatic Transfer Switch;

 

Burkhardt Pump Station (Intersection of 154 St & 68 Ave. Surrey)

 

.2         The City of Surrey intends to install a permanent back-up generator on site:

 

.1         A new reinforced concrete pad as defined on the drawings;

.2         Installing buried conduits as required;

.3         Installing a new generator and fuel tank set in weatherproof enclosure;

 

Quibble Creek Pump Station (Intersection of King George Blvd & 94 Ave, Surrey)

 

.3        The City of Surrey intends to install a permanent back-up generator, modify
            inlet chamber and install sluice gate on site:

 

            .1        Installing EMT and Teck cable as required;
            .2        Installing a new generator set inside the station with sound

                       attenuating muffler system;

            .3        Providing temporary bypass pumping complete with Traffic

                       Management Plan and fencing to allow for modifications to

                       existing inlet chamber;

            .4        Removing plug valve and other items inside existing inlet chamber

                       as shown on Contract Drawings;

            .5        Installing new plug valve, piping, fittings and manhole complete

                       with Rotork valve actuator assembly outside of existing inlet

                       chamber as shown on Contract Drawings;

            .6        Installing new buried electrical conduits outside of existing inlet

                       chamber as shown on Contract Drawings;

            .7        Installing new sluice gate inside existing wet well;

 

 

Stewart Farm Pump Station (13000 block Crescent Rd, Surrey)

 

.4         The City of Surrey intends to install a permanent back-up generator on site:

 

.1         Concrete pad is existing;

.2         Buried conduits are existing;

.3         Refitting a salvaged generator with a weatherproof enclosure and fuel

            tank and installing on site;

.4        Installation of an Automatic Transfer Switch.

 

 

Tenders must be submitted in a sealed package, marked on the outside with "Tenders for Sanitary Pump Station Upgrades M.S. 4715-060-11" and must be received at the first floor Main Reception/Information Desk, Surrey City Hall, 13450-104 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. Canada V3T 1V8, not later than 2:00pm (local time), on October 22nd, 2015, and will be opened in public immediately thereafter.
