Purpose
The primary focus of the scope of Services shall be the provision of, in a substantial, complete and professional workmanlike manner all necessary services within the required service times for the provision of civic grounds maintenance including but may not be limited to litter and debris removal.

Scope of Services
The scope of Services to include, but not necessarily limited to, the pick-up, bagging, removal and proper disposal of accumulated litter and debris either on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis.  The main reason for this work is to remove all litter and debris from the right of way to maintain a clean appearance on the City's civic grounds.

The Contractor shall be responsible for pick-up, bagging, collecting and removing and properly disposing of all litter and debris at each designated location.

The Contractor will perform the Services at the following locations:

  1. Bear Creek Park at 13750 - 88th Avenue;
  2. Holland Park at 13428 Old Yale Road;
  3. Whalley Athletic/Tom Binnie Park at 13351 - 105A Avenue/10665 - 135th Street;
  4. Fleetwood Park at 15802 - 80th Avenue;
  5. Hawthorne Park at 10503 - 144th Street;
  6. Newton Athletic Park at 7395 - 128th Street; and
  7. Royal Kwantlen Park at 12925 Old Yale Road.

Addenda
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City's Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca (the "BC Bid Website") and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (the "City Website") that will form part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractor to check the BC Bid Website and the City Website for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.

All inquiries related to this Request for Quotation ("RFQ") should be directed in writing to the contact person named below.

Closing Date:

Prefer to receive Quotations on or before March 13, 2015.
